where can i find search box

have trouble finding the search box at the bottom of the page. probably something very simple, but I just can’t get it to show

for me the search box in the text window works with ctrl+f. This depends on the language and keyboard settings. You can check the shortcuts currently valid for your system and the currently selected language under extras->options->Shortcuts and change them if necessary.
