I needed to force sorting of my index so set the entry using <;> and all looked fine in the Index Preview window. But when I checked the index in InDesign it wasn’t working so I had to make additional changes.
I wanted:
co-creation
coach, AgileSHIFT
IDX appeared to sort my entries if I entered:
co-creation;co creation
coach, AgileSHIFT
but that didn’t work so I then tried the following which did:
co-creation;co aacreation
coach, AgileSHIFT
So all worked out fine but I don’t really want to have to go into InDesign to check. Any suggestions?
(My subscription to Adobe InDesign expires next month and until I can source CS6 version I won’t have access to InDesign to check these things)
