Index-Transfer
With this Index Manager extension, index entries from one document file can be transferred to another document version in a different file format, e.g. from a Microsoft Word file to an Adobe InDesign file. This function is very helpful for publishers if the index is created in Word and production is to begin in parallel with the layout, or if the index has simply been forgotten and is subsequently to be transferred into the finished layout document.
Index-Import
You have a finished separate index that you created using dedicated indexing software or that was created for the previous edition and want to embed it in a document. The Index Manager extension Index Import automates the process as far as possible. Contact us to convert the existing index into the format required for the import.
